Mission Statement for NEW FORT COLLINS FIGURE SKATING CLUB PRODUCTION: SPRING SPECTACULAR ICE SHOW

MISSION STATEMENT:
The mission of the Fort Collins Figure Skating Club
ice show is to host an event that celebrates figure
skating and brings our skating community
together in collaboration to share our passion for
the sport in a creative, equitable, fiscally
responsible, and inclusive way.

 

No Auditions! Casting will be based on Freeskate test level as of February 11, 2022

RECREATOR REGISTRATION: This is for Learn to Skate (LTS) non-tested youth and Adult skaters. Sign up through the Spring Recreator through the City of Fort Collins PAGE 59

Important dates:

December 15, 2021: Membership fee due to join the Fort Collins Figure Skating Club (you must be a current club member in good standing participate in the show)

February 2, 2022:  Recreator sign up deadline for ALL NON TESTED SKATERS (skaters that have not passed pre-preliminary freeskate or Adult pre-Bronze freekate).  We have an on-ice casting call and costume measurement/deposit on February 2. 2022 from 5-6pm.

February 11, 2022: 11:59pm deadline for Ice Show sign up, by signing up you are agreeing to both the SKATER AND PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT.  Please read these carefully and understand that you must adhere to these codes of conduct.

March-May 2022: Show rehearsals

March 28, 2022: General Admission tickets go on sale through Entryeeze 

May 6, 2022: Dress Rehearsal 4:45 pm

May 7, 2022: 2 Shows at 1pm and 6pm

 

FAQ

Do I need to pay the costume fee ?

Skaters who register through the Recreator will pay a $60 costume fee that is due by February 2, 2022.  We will have an online/Square payment set up.

Do I have to be a member of the Fort Collins Figure Skating Club to participate?

This year ALL PARTICIPANTS (with the exception of collegiate skaters who train at EPIC) will need to be club members.  This INCLUDES LEARN TO SKATE (non tested) SKATERS.  They will need to join the club at the “Basic” membership for $28 (see the “Membership” tab on our website.)

 

TICKET TYPES:

Tickets will go on sale at EPIC late March (Details to come)

General Admission Seats ALL $15 Adults/Senior/Child

Accessible Seating : Will be up in the stands.  No on ice seating this year.

VIP rink-side seating will NOT be available this year.
