To the Fort Collins Figure Skating Club
Hello Skaters!
We have the opportunity to skate in an outdoor Holiday Exhibition at the Pond Ice Skating Rink at Foothills Mall on Monday, December 6th from 6 pm – 7 pm.
We will skate to Holiday songs. We have time for about 25+ skaters. You may sign-up twice, once for a single skate and once for a pairs/trio/group skate.
You may choose your own song or Coach Denaysa Sisemore has compiled a collection of classic Holiday songs (same songs from last year). If you choose to skate to a song that is not on Denaysa’s list, email your song as an mp3 or mp4 to laurawhicks@yahoo.com by 12/3 so she can add it to the playlist. If you chose one of the songs we already have, be sure to add your email when you sign-up. Laura Hicks will email your song to you.
Every single skater has 1.5 min. Pairs/trio/group skates have 2 minutes. Need help cutting your music? Olivia Melchert (oliviakmelchert@gmail.com) has generously volunteered to help you!
PLEASE NOTE: You will want to check out the rink before 12/6. The rink is kidney-shaped and has a large tree with benches on the ice. There are seats/benches at the rink where you can put on your skates. Bring guards. If you are skating in pairs please know that Foothills management has requested no lifts. There are low-hanging lights at the rink that might interfere with your lift.
