COVID-19
The FCFSC is committed to keep all skaters and their families as safe as possible while participating in FCFSC sponsored group activites. We will stay up to date with the recommendations of US Figure Skating as well as federal, state and county guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We are also committed to follow all rules and guidelines from the City of Fort Collins and the staff at EPIC.
US Figure Skating COVID-19 guidelines can be found HERE
We understand that the COVID-19 situation has created a lot of confusion about how to be safe at the rink. We are committed to skating and to continuing our normal club activities as best we can during these difficult times. In order to responsibly continue with club events, we feel it necessary to require a “COVID-19 Symptom Tracker” to be filled out by each skater or participant in a club event (over the age of 18) or the parent, guardian or caretaker of skaters under the age of 18. This form will need to be filled out prior to participating in any club group activity, i.e. team practices both on and off the ice, test sessions, club hosted competitions, program run throughs, meetings and club or team sponsored social events.
Many clubs across the country are using these forms to clearly define to skaters when it is unsafe for you to participate in group events. We ask that if a box is checked “YES” on the form, that the skater refrain from participating in club sponsored group activities for 14 days or a negative test result.
We understand that many of you may have questions. Please contact us at fcfigureskating@gmail.com
We will provide a downloadable version of the form HERE or you can fill out this online version on the day of the event:
